VOTE HERE: Vote now: What city has the 'most awesome' fireworks display in Michigan
Are you ready for the Fourth of July?
If you're like me, the answer is a big, booming YES!
I'll be in Grand Rapids most of the day, and then in the evening I'm heading to Traverse City for the National Cherry Festival 2015.
Along the way I'm sure to encounter a mixture of community fireworks displays and those that just happen to pop up in the middle of nowhere.
How about you?
Where are you headed on the Fourth of July?
Are you going to Bay City, a community known for its nightly displays and an impressive 36-minute show July 4?

Maybe you'll be enjoying displays throughout Michigan from Detroit to Kalamazoo or Marquette to Lansing.
I know of one little community that thinks it does a pretty good job of celebrating our nation's birthday.
In Lake City (which is about 14 miles northeast of Cadillac), they call their celebration "The Greatest 4th in the North!"
Activities are planned each night leading up to the Grand Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. July 4.
"Following the parade will be the traditional Ox Roast and Strawberry Festival. Pizza Eating Contests, Rosco the Clown, Hula-Hoop Limbo Competitions and more!" according to the city website.
Fireworks will be set off from the Chambers barges off Miltner Beach, right off M-66 at 10:30 p.m.
My friends on Mackinac Island say they are planning a lot of activities, as well as a pretty impressive fireworks show.
What do you consider a good fireworks show?
The length of the show? The colors? The quality of shells? The ease of traffic while going to and from the show?
I'm looking for the "most awesome fireworks displays" and celebrations in Michigan.
Where can I find them?
And what makes them so special?
Please leave your favorites in the comments section below. And feel free to send us photos. I will work on a big list just in time for the holiday.
